Many emails/messages in the Inbox can slow the the sycnchronization with the mail server. The solution can be moving the messages to your Mac machine. Outlook for Mac logging is turned on. The solution can be turning off the log. Outlook for Mac can take longer to sort items in less-common fields. The solution can be sorting contacts and messages by a different fields.
